Tax Assessor
The Tax Assessor's Office is responsible for establishing and maintaining real and personal property values in the Town of West Warwick for ad valorem tax purposes. This department is responsible for updating ownership records and real estate title information. Real, personal and motor vehicle tax rolls are prepared each year. The Tax Assessor's office oversees the administration of all state and local tax exemption programs listed below.

The State mandated revaluation for all Real Estate in West Warwick is complete. Your revalutation letters from Northeast Revaluation have go out. If you have questions concerning your revaluation, please call Northeast Revaluation, at the number on your revaluation letter. Reminder: When Real Estate values rise - tax rates decrease, don't calculate your taxes by the current tax rate. |
Starting with the 2024 Taxes (July 2024), the State of Rhode Island has enacted an exemption of up to $50,000 in value for Business's throughout the State.
