Public Works
The responsibilities of the Department of Public Works are to maintain existing public properties, including roadway repair, sweeping & snow plowing, drainage systems, bridges, culverts & cemeteries, etc. The DPW also handles all bulk waste & disposal of white goods. The Parks and Recreation Department working in conjunction with the DPW, is responsible for the maintenance of the bike path, town parks and facilities. The Highway Department, performs the maintenance for all the Town vehicles, is also a division of the DPW.

Mattresses and Box Springs:
- Pick up service-$25.00
- Drop off- FREE ( Limit of 5 Mattresses per fiscal year & 3 per day) any additional is a charge of $25.00 per item. All mattresses or box springs must be bagged prior to pickup or drop off. (bags available for purchase for $6.00 at the DPW office)
