TOWN OF WEST WARWICK POLICE DISPATCHERS WEST WARWICK POLICE DEPARTMENT The Town of West Warwick is accepting applications for employment as a Police Dispatcher. Individuals who wish to be considered for employment by the Town of West Warwick as a Police Dispatcher must successfully pass the following: • written test, • oral interview, • psychological test, • thorough background check and • medical screening. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and be of good moral character. The complete job description (& application) is provided below. Applications are also available in the lobby at the West Warwick Town Hall, 1170 Main Street, West Warwick, RI 02893. A $25.00 written testing fee must be paid by check or money order (payable to the Town of West Warwick) and must accompany the application. Your application package must contain: - Town of West Warwick employment application, - payment for written test, - photocopy of your drivers license and - photocopy of your high school diploma or GED. One full time position: 4:00PM-12:00AM (Thursdays and Fridays off.) Two part time positions available: (1) 12am to 8am Friday into Saturday and Saturday into Sunday. (2) 4pm to 12am on Saturday and Sunday. Must be available for order ins, overtime and scheduled holidays. Completed application packages must be received at the West Warwick Town Hall, 1170 Main Street, West Warwick, RI 02893, on or before 4:00PM Thursday, July 3, 2025. Incomplete packages will not be considered.
