Assistant Director of DPW & Parks
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS The Town of West Warwick, RI is seeking an experienced hands-on professional to serve as its next Assistant Director of Public Works/Parks. The Assistant Director of Public Works/Parks works in consultation with and under the supervision of the DPW/Parks Director. Coordinates and supervises the daily assignments of DPW and Parks employees and the vehicles and equipment needed to successfully and expeditiously complete the daily assignments. A Bachelors of Science degree, desirably in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Land Survey, or a directly related area preferred. Past experience will be considered as a substitute for the required degree. Prior supervisory experience in a union environment preferred. Compensation includes a salary range of $80,000-$87,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications), 457 plan retirement plan contribution of 7%, health, dental and life insurance coverage.
