Pension Information

     The Town of West Warwick has transitioned the Pension Plans to the Municipal Employees' Retirement System (MERS) and MERS for Police & Fire through the Employees Retirement System of RI (ERSRI).  As of July 1, 2022 all Town of West Warwick Pension Plan administration and assets are under ERSRI.  Retirement checks are paid on the last business day of the month.

     Pension payment questions, direct deposit updates, beneficiary updates, death notifications and change of address notifications can be directed to the Employees Retirement System of RI (ERSRI) Member Services Center at (401) 462-7600.  www.ersri.org

     The Hilb group will be handling the collection of retiree medical premiums.  You can reach Hilb at 1-800-457-6593 with any questions about remitting payments. (Premiums are no longer deducted from your pension check.)

IMPORTANT HEALTH COVERAGE TAX DOCUMENTS

Due to new legislation passed, 1095C forms will no longer be required to be distributed to employees and retirees.  They will be available only upon request. If you would like a copy of your 1095 C going forward you must request it one of the following ways.
